Pastor’s Thoughts:
Have you ever sought the ‘intervention of the Spirit”?
As we pursue Visioning and Discernment, that is exactly what we are seeking. We are asking for guidance
and direction in moving forward. It is a journey, one that will not be accomplished overnight nor is it one we
can do individually, on our own. The fact that the disciples were together in one room when the Spirit fell
upon them’ like tongues of fire’ says something special about how we receive such a blessing. It is in our
corporate pursuit that our prayers can and will be answered.
It was a blessing that allowed the disciples to go out and preach the gospel in a manner that ‘every person
heard them in their own language’. It will be a blessing that leads us into new places, new ‘territory’, fresh
mission, and new purpose. And it will likely NOT BE what we are expecting or hoping to receive!
Being open to God, to the leadings of the Spirit, allows deep blessings to unfold. The world awaits us in our
own unique way to “live the words we pray”.
Continue to Bless and Be a Blessing!

- Continue to consider how you may serve our congregation both with technology used during worship (live-stream or in-person) as well as our social media applications. Backup website assistance for updating the website as needed is requested. Training sessions are available daytime or evening.
- Would you, Could you help one Sunday a month with worship services? If so, please let Patty Seery or Frank Pittenger know. A request is sent out during the previous month seeking responses on availability. Your prompt response and date(s) of choice provide for planning for us and on YOUR calendar!
